2021 DOMI AWARDS RECIPIENT 4: JUSTIN IGNATIUS

Talented, handsome, success driven, eloquent and jovial; qualities that comes to mind when I remember this gentleman, Mr. Justin. He’s one of the people I always thank God for bringing my way.

I first met Mr. Justin back in 2017. It was the Annual National Youth Summit which held in Enugu that year. On the final day of the summit, the fashion house where I served as an intern was to Showcase along with other top designers in the East of Nigeria. Due to my boss’s inability to be present that night, she gave me the greatest opportunity to represent her. it was my first ever fashion related outing. Mr. Justin was among the models that night that walked for us but I kid you not when I tell you that I really didn’t take notice of him that night.

Almost a year later, I was coming out from the bank in one of Enugu’s most populated vicinity and there was this fine gentleman who called my attention. I honestly didn’t recognize him at all but we exchanged numbers and left. It was only when I was going through the pictures I had taken that day that I remembered him. Ever since then, Mr. Justin has become more like a brother to me than just a friend.

One of the things I have never missed to notice about this young man is his calmness, even in intense situations. It was after being friends with him that I really understood that not everyone with dreads belonged to the loud stereotype.Mr. Justin is an amazing singer with one of the loveliest vocal cords I’ve ever witnessed. It’s no wonder he was specially selected as one of the oppotuned backup singers for Flavour N’abania’s concert in Enugu back then. To match his beautiful voice, he’s also an amazing songwriter.

Mr. Justin is also a professional model and model instructor with a wide array of positive feedbacks, a dancer with the best moves there is, an upcoming actor, and a fitness trainer.

When it comes to eloquence in communication, Mr. Justin has one of the best speaking voices I’ve ever seen with articulated use of words. Guys Chicago texture is one to admire really.

He’s contributed to the progress of the house of Dav-Oz in quite a number of ways that would take me forever to list out because it’s much. I remember when he’d come to where I worked then as a SIWES student and he’d challenge me to make beautiful movie packs with his pictures. This challenges held me eventually to perfect my graphic design skills.

There are a lot to say about this young gentleman but time won’t be enough. He really is someone I would never ever forget in a hurry. That’s why it’s no mistake he’s one of the DOMI Award recipient this year.

Stay connected as we continue to unveil the rest of the DOMI Award Recipients that would be officially awarded on the 11th of December, 2021.
