If there is a list of individuals I call my all time cheerleaders, his name can never be found wanting in the said list. That is Mr. Celestine, our next Dav-Oz Motivational Icons Award Recipient for you.
I met Mr. Celestine through a mutual friend in 2018. I was preparing for my first collection/runway then. I remember the first impression I had of him; very vocal & witty. It wasn’t hard to begin conversation with him even though I wasn’t the chatty-on-first-meet type. He sees you want to have a conversation with him, he helps relieve the stress of what to say and the next thing, you’re laughing and rolling. That was how we became friends. His presence during my debut collection runway appearance was greatly felt as he was the main person that gingered the resounding ovation from the audience that night.
One of the things you can never miss about Mr. Celestine is that he’s very likable and cheerful. He has the kind of personality that rolls with any type of person. All you need to do is clear your mind of any prejudice and you can enjoy a memorable chat. Even if he’s down emotionally, it’s as if he made it a rule that you too can’t be down as well. He’d joke through it all just so that you can feel better.
Mr. Celestine is also a singer and interior decorator with clients based across the country. He has one of the most magical touch of excellence via his creative skills.
There are a lot to say about this young gentleman but time won’t be enough. He really is someone I would never ever forget in a hurry. That’s why it’s no mistake he’s one of the DOMI Award recipient this year.
