Simple interest was the promise,
But day by day our money dey miss.
Card maintenance, SMS charges,
And loads of deductions with no explanations.
Life made easy,
Morphed into “you must be crazy”,
You wan withdraw money,
Wait o! Your hard-earned money
But it’s trapped in a cage.
With policies that welcome frustration.
So the latest,
Stretched us like latex.
“Deposit all your old notes”,
And we followed like obedient goats.
Now we are Queue-riorrs,
We fight in queues like warriors.
“No cash” is the trend,
All man don bend.
Chief Bankole made a policy,
But failed to see
That the people are suffering,
Under the sun, we roast like burnt offering.
What we ordered verse what we got.
