One of the most common conceptions among individuals is that of self-imposed restrictions. We all have difficulties that prohibit us from enjoying life as need be. We all carry baggage that sometimes inspires us to be brave and other times create impediments in our path. Unpacking this luggage may be challenging for this reason, in many instances, we choose to take it with us and ignore it before confronting and conquering everything that is within us to live more completely.
The easiest way to fail is to assume that you are not competent. When you feel incapable of achieving anything, you just stop trying and, therefore, fail.
It is not always so simple, but what is clear is that if you are the one who restricts yourself, you will have failed before you began.
Wanting to transcend your boundaries demands daring to make errors and learning from them, reevaluating yourself, and making the required modifications according to the standards that you establish for yourself in each circumstance that comes.
But, how can we manage not to restrict ourselves?
The most crucial thing is that we first determine the genesis of the notion, which may include the following:
1) A strong desire to be understood by everyone as a measurement for success.
2) Fear of the future, of change, is often a result of low self-esteem.
3) Rejection which can make you feel that you’re not good enough.
4) Hopelessness, the feeling that all is lost.
5) Holding on to hurtful pasts that taunt your memory
6) Inadequate motivation
7) Anxiety about success. Success typically has varied connotations for each individual, especially for people who usually have mental limits. It is regarded and assumed as a commitment that terrifies and hinders the goals from being completed.
8) Staying in your comfort zone to avoid taking risks.
If you feel associated with any of the lists of personal limits that I have stated above, it is time for you to understand how to overcome the hurdles that they may be causing for you. Overcoming constraints requires recognizing or identifying everything that is restricting you, and then working on overcoming it.
Once you manage to identify each of your restrictions, which in a particular manner prohibit you from going ahead, you will then be able to assess what sort of ideas, anxieties, or emotions are triggered by them.
To meet and conquer each of these barriers that go beyond your boundaries, you need to reinvent your genuine talents and abilities. At the same time, as you begin to respect your traits, acknowledge those in which you stand out, and start advertising them based on a positive vision.
Of course, this will require that you change and avoid the fear of transformation at all costs, admitting that not only can you make errors, but you may also experience anxiety and/or irritation. Most of all, being conscious that conquering difficulties and personal restrictions is a personal choice; that is, it only relies on you to improve and be better every day.
Once you are aware of this, you only have to change your life to an action plan that lets you work successfully on your constraints, which will lead you to attain your complete well-being.
Exceeding your limits is from a perspective of self.
No one can accomplish IT but YOU.
Finally, never allow your village people to use your head to run their gathering centre.
Live your life!
Learn from your mistakes!
Move on!
