Free and fair,
But we paid the transport fare,
Hoping to get to the land of free-dom
From a lost kingdom.
Under the sun and in the rain,
We waited patiently to join the train.
From dusk to dawn,
We struggled not to drown.
We fought thugs.
Our old ones,
They fought high blood pressure,
Standing strong for hours for what they treasure.
We took blows and beatings,
Seeking a good morning that is not mere greetings.
Our social media was active,
Because we were dealing with thieves.
We paid,
We prayed.
They played.
