(2 Sam 1:19 The beauty of Israel is slain upon high places, how are the mighty fallen?)
Just like Lucifer, the archangel was a sight to behold.
He was cast out from the heavens.
He was condemned to life to damnation and frustration.
He was created to project the glory of God.
Yet He allowed jealousy, envy, and pride to corrupt his spirit.
He didn’t appreciate the opportunity to serve.
He chose to compare himself with his creator,
To rise above the one who made him.
Just like Lucifer, we have been given the second in command positions.
Instead of being appreciative, dedicated, loyal, and faithful to the position.
We abuse the rights we were given.
And when we receive the consequences of our actions,
Instead of being apologetic and correcting our mistakes, we claim nonchalance.
We begin to see ourselves as equals to our superiors,
And if overlooked we would be comfortable enough to even boast. When the downfall comes, please don’t blame the devil
BEWARE OF JEALOUSY, PRIDE, AND ENVY, YOU CAN NEVER BE BETTER THAN YOUR SUPERIOR.
