IT’S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN!!!
At the end of every year, Dav-Oz Blog recognizes exceptional individuals/brands who’ve been quite instrumental to the growth and development of the community in general throughout the year in review. These recognitions are called the Dav-Oz Motivational Icons’ Awards (DOMIs).
The Awards which began in 2017 as the “Dav-Oz Awards” and have since continued as one of the most anticipated annual events, skipping only a year in 2019, have shown commitment to appreciating and announcing impactful individuals & brands who have been quality assets to the community.
The DOMI Awards also recognizes outstanding writers, columnists & articles published in Dav-Oz Blog.
The Awards are categorized into the following:
A) The Voters’ Choice Categories (Performing Star of the Year, Pen Icon of the Year, Entrepreneurial Icon of the Year, Quintessential Icon of the Year & Emerging Brand of the Year)
B) The Blog Writers’ Category (Piece of the Year, Columnist of the Year, Most Rated Piece of the Year, Pen Master of the Year, Columnist of the Year & Column of the Year). A new category will be added this year; Best Piece by a Guest Writer)
C) Honorary Motivational Icons)

The Nomination & Voting Process for The 6th DOMI Awards
Nomination is ongoing and would end by 11:59pm (WAT) on Friday, the 30th of June, 2023. To nominate, click on any of the categories above and fill out the form. Nominees must be within Nigeria. Nomination is free.
After the Nomination deadline, the in-house committee will deliberate and select at least 10 (Ten) qualified nominees for each category. These nominees will proceed to the First Voting Stage (1VS), which will be announced via this site and our social media handles on July 13th. The voting in this first stage will be done on our Instagram & Facebook handles and will carry on from Thursday, July 13th – Sunday, August 13th, 2023.
The Top Five from the various categories in the 1VS would then proceed to the Second Voting Stage (2VS) which will first be announced via The Guys’ Table YouTube Chanel on August 25th. They will later be announced via this site and our social media handles.
