I know. If you know me, you’d be surprised as well. David and Games are hardly in the same sentence.
Video games are amazing avenues for relieving stress and relaxation. If you’re like me, after a busy day, 30 mins (or more) of adventure into your virtual empire is enough to unwind.
Nowadays, technological advancement has made it easier to play games by just clicking on Google Play Store or Apple Store and downloading your desired game straight into your phone, unlike the times when you’d have to have a whole physical setup before you could play a nice game.
In this post, I would gladly list out my top 5 amazing phone games I’ve enjoyed playing. Criteria I had to consider before picking the games on this list were the Graphics, the uniqueness of the game, the creativity, and finally, the ability to satisfy yet leave you wanting more
So here they are, in descending order.
#1. AIRLINES MANAGER TYCOON
In this game, you’re a business Tycoon with your own Airline Company and you’re expected to expand said company into a global empire. The amazing thing about this game apart from its vivid likening to the real world, is the fact that you get to learn a lot about how the aviation business operates. Even if you’re not a fan of Airplanes and airport businesses, you just can’t help but love the game. You also get to create or join alliances where other players from different parts of the world also become part if they choose. I’ve met so many friends from other parts of the world by just playing Airlines Manager Tycoon. I created my own alliance and it currently has 50 members/Airlines (which is the maximum an alliance can have in the game). Currently, my airline value is over $3 billion and my current net worth is over $1.3 billion. I know, it’s not real but even though, it is what it is. Other features of this game include buying and selling aircraft, Receiving loans from the bank, buying and selling routes, etc.
#2. TOO HOT TO HANDLE (SEASONS 1 & 2)
Don’t get me started on this. This is a Decision-Based game and it is based on the popular Netflix Reality TV Show of the Same Name with various franchises. Just like the show, in this game, you’re a Contestant on the show, and you meet other NPCs as contestants. The rule of the show is to form a connection with any of the NPCs and not to engage in any Sexual activity throughout the show. Simmer down the excitement. Even if you decide to break the rules, there’s no graphical image suggesting indecency. However, it is rated 18. Another amazing thing about this game is the fashion. I can’t say it enough, but the creators of this game deserve a thumbs up. In the first season, you get to choose outfits for special occasions out of several options but in this second season, after choosing an outfit from options provided to you, the rest of the outfits are added to your wardrobe. The graphic quality of the game is amazing and the creativity is superb. But do you know what I like best? This game is super progressive. Unlike it’s counterpart, Love Island, you could choose a male or a female Avatar and you can decide to bond with anyone you choose regardless of their gender. And if you finished a season, you can go again as a different person. The only downside (I wouldn’t call it that though) to this game is that you’d need to have a Netflix account before you can play it. Other than that, this game is wonderful.
#3. FASHION STYLIST: DRESS UP GAME
Come on, a fashion game would definitely need to make this list. This game is unlike your usual dress-up games. In this game, you’re a Fashion Stylist and your goal is to create the best out of what’s in your clients’ wardrobe after which you’re scored. There are different occasions to style for; Evening, Casual, Sports, High School, Office, Beach, Music Performance, Red Carpet Appearance, Pop Art, Medieval, Bohemian, Cheerleader, etc. And there are daily Targets to reach to earn more rewards. Then don’t get me started on the special contests. This game is creative and inspiring for future or current fashion stylists.
#4. REDECOR
This is another amazing game. In this game, you’re an interior decorator. Your job is mainly to attach colors so that the room or venue you’re decorating is classy. After every task, you submit your work for evaluation and after 3 or 6 hours, you see your score. The game can be addictive but nevertheless, inspirational.
#5. LOVE ISLAND: THE GAME
This is another Decision-Based game and it is based on the popular Reality TV Show of the Same Name with various franchises. It came out before Too Hot to Handle and has continued to make waves though not as much as THTH. I first started playing this game before THTH and I loved it, but now, it’s not my top anymore. In this game, you’re also a Contestant with other NPCs and you’re to make decisions that could have rewards or consequences. Right now, it’s currently in its 6th season which I’m yet to play but I’m sure it’s cool.
Well, that’s it guys, my Top 5 video games. Tell me what you think and if you have suggestions on a game that’s amazing to you, you can let me know through the comment section. Don’t forget to rate this post. Love you all.
